Your internet privacy is important to us. As part of the operation and optimization of the Republican Voters Against Trump web site (“rvat.org”), we gather certain types of information from users. Here, we explain the types of information we gather, and what we do with it.

Our website collects three types of data from you: personal data such as zip code, email address, and demographic information; aggregated data such as information about traffic patterns on rvat.org (for example, how many users access our website on a daily basis); and financial data, such as data related to your payment method (such as date of donation and donation amount).

Aggregated Information

Aggregated information, such as which pages you visit and what browser you use, is collected through various means. One of these ways is through an IP address, a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you use the Internet. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. When you request a page from rvat.org, our servers log your IP address. rvat.org does not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, so although your session will be logged, your session will remain anonymous to us. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration only.

Financial Data

When you donate to Republican Accountability PAC (the parent of Republican Voters Against Trump), we may store data related to your donation, such as amount and date of transaction. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect, and access to that limited data is restricted to specific individuals who have the necessary username and password combination. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processor, Stripe, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

Use of Information Collected by rvat.org

The rvat.org website uses the personal, aggregated, and financial information we collect for multiple purposes. The information is used to improve the content of the site, and if requested, to provide information services by email to the user. After registration, users will receive an email message confirming registration. You may unsubscribe at any time. Your financial information is used to process donations to Republican Accountability PAC, and to handle any donation support requests we might receive from you. The Republican Accountability PAC will not disclose your personally identifiable information to a third party unless required to do so by court order, law or governmental agency.
