WASHINGTONWednesday, October 30, 2024 – Republican Voters Against Trump launched a new ad campaign as part of our projected $40 million effort to defeat Donald Trump. The campaign features three new videos, all set to run in PA, MI, WI, and NE-02 on streaming platforms (CTV) and YouTube through Election Day, alongside dozens of testimonials featuring former Trump voters.

The first video features Sarah Matthews, who served as deputy press secretary in the Trump administration, speaking out about his dereliction of duty on January 6th. In the 60-second spot, which you can watch here, Sarah says: “If Donald Trump didn’t care about his own Vice President’s life being in danger, what makes you think he cares about you? This is a man of the lowest moral character.”

The second ad,
another 60-second spot, reminds voters of Trump’s failed presidency, including his mismanagement of COVID, his 34 felony convictions, and his incitement of the January 6 insurrection. The ad features leading Republicans like Liz Cheney and Mike Pence who refuse to support him, as well as former Trump voters who are part of our Republican Voters Against Trump campaign:

The third ad,
which you can view here, uses an employment search to demonstrate Trump’s unfitness for office. It opens with an employer searching through LinkedIn for Donald Trump. While reading his CV, they click on his references, and are confronted with the damning statements made by members of Trump’s cabinet, including Vice President Pence, and others:

By emphasizing the voices of his former officials and voters, the campaign targets persuadable voters with the clear warnings from the people who know him best. The trifecta of his former voters, administration officials, and his own vice president not supporting him are meant to drive home his unfitness with the soft-GOP and independents who will decide this election.

“My colleagues and I saw Trump abandon his oath to office on January 6,” said Sarah Matthews, former Trump White House Deputy Press Secretary. “That, combined with his disregard for the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power, should send a clear message to voters: Donald Trump can never return to the White House, and Kamala Harris is the only choice this November.”
