“I would be scared to death if Donald Trump were to be re-elected.”
“Hi, I’m Alan from North Carolina, and I did vote for Donald Trump in 2016, but I could never, ever see myself voting for Donald Trump to serve a second term as the leader of the free world.
“I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 because I felt that we had exhausted ourselves from career politicians, and my grandest hope was that we might elect a businessman, thinking that he’d run the country like a business and because we didn’t need a career politician. But then we did elect a businessman and what we got was just terrible for our country. It’s divisiveness, all of the issues that have come up as a result of his presidency and therefore I could never vote for Donald Trump again.
“I would be scared to death if Donald Trump were to be re-elected for several reasons. One is because I feel his position would be totally self-serving, not in the interest even of his base constituency, let alone the independents who might vote for him. I also feel that it would be next to impossible for him to find quality cabinet members. He’s gone through the quality people that he brought on and those that weren’t high in quality have now been indicted for their own criminal activities. He doesn’t like to be told what to do. He believes that he’s above the law. He doesn’t have to follow the rules. He does what he wants to do and he takes what he wants to take. That doesn’t make any sense in my mind for him being beneficial to a second term in office.
“There is no way in the world that I feel we should be electing someone as the leader of the free world, and acting on our behalf, who is facing, even though he hasn’t been convicted yet, the fact that he’s facing four criminal indictments, which include 91 criminal felonies, leads me to believe that his sick and demented manner alone leads him not to be trusted to become the next president of the United States in 2024. I plan on voting for Joe Biden. There is no way in the world that I could ever vote for Donald Trump.”
