“Events on January 6th happened, and it was like I lost every little bit of faith that I had in him.”
“My name is Daniel and I’m from Tennessee. And unlike the previous two times, I will not be voting for Trump this year. In the general election, I was an avid Trump supporter, big MAGA, and I loved him from the minute he came down the escalator announced his presidency, his plans for presidency, up until the general election and even further.
“And, about three quarters of the way. Obviously, you know, COVID hit, you know, kind of towards the end. But, um, I was still thinking, you know, still had hope, all this stuff. But no, it didn’t happen and he did not deliver on any of his promises. Build the wall, make Mexico pay for it, drain the swamp.
“He actually surrendered himself in his cabinet by, you know, CEOs, millionaires, wall Street guys, big Wall Street guys, to, you know, they’re enacting these policies, these and procedures. For these industries that they used to be a part of. And so it’s like a big conflict of interest. Like steel workers, there’s less steel workers.
“He said he was gonna stand by steel, coal, he said America will run on coal. Is it? No, absolutely not. Coal jobs have tanked. And, repel and replace Obamacare. No, nothing and nothing even in the works on that. And then the events on January 6th happened, and it was like I lost every little bit of faith that I had in him on that day to watch him literally incite insurrection.
“Okay. And bring a riot basically to the capitol doors and, and even, you know, on the rotunda and the halls. And I mean, that was just a horrible, horrible day, scary day. And, he basically told Mike Pence that if he did not, like fight the election results that he was un-American unpatriotic, which actually is the exact opposite.
“For 2024, my vote will be with Kamala Harris against all my friends and family and all their wishes. Everybody I know supports Trump I have to take a stand.”
