“Just because you’re a Christian doesn’t mean you have to be a Republican.”
“Hi, my name is Danielle. I am from South Florida and I’m a former Trump voter.
“I don’t even know where to begin as far as to why I won’t vote for Trump again, there are so many reasons. First and foremost on my mind is who he will surround himself with, his cabinet members, his people, his advisors.
“The last time he was in office, I believe he had people that had guardrails for him so he couldn’t do the worst of what his tendencies would do. And this time he’s not going to make that same mistake. He is definitely going to be bringing people on board that are going to be yes men, that are going to support him fully and 100% and will not be able to reign in his worst characteristics. So that’s the first and foremost thing. So I would just encourage anybody considering him for office, for voting for him in 2024, look at who he’s surrounding himself with. Investigate those people, research who they are, research their history
“I’m a Christ follower and I see there’s so much, hypocrisy when we compare how we treated, say Clinton and all of his indiscretions while he was in office and possibly before and possibly after, but yet we don’t hold President Trump to the same standard whatsoever. We totally bypass everything that he says and does. That is absolutely immoral. And we can say we’re not looking for a pastor as a president, but our leaders do need to be virtuous. And our founding fathers even said that. Our founding fathers said we cannot have this republic if we don’t have virtuous citizens. And the same goes for our leaders. Our leaders need to be virtuous.
“I will absolutely vote for Biden, hands down. I think he’s a decent man. Do I think he’s a great president? I mean, not particularly, you know, but I definitely get the sense that he’s a decent man who loves his family, who loves this country
“I have never voted for a Democrat president before. So is it easy or hard for me to vote a Democrat? I would say this election, it’s super easy. It’s a super clear decision for me and particularly so because of Trump, right? And also because I’ve started to really come to understand that just because you’re a Christian doesn’t mean you have to be a Republican.”
