“For the first time in my long life, I’m gonna have to vote for a Democrat.”
“I’m Dave, I’m from St. Louis, and I voted for Trump and I voted for him again in 2020, but that of course was the breaking point when he denied the election results, because I’m military and I swore oath to support the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and he undermined that.
“He went too far.
“He went way too far and if he gets back in, he’ll go even farther, I suspect.
“I think what happened on January 6 was a dry run.
“He’s even committed to being a dictator his first day back in.
“Have you ever known of a dictator who was only a dictator for one day?
“It just doesn’t happen.
“He’s communicating to you who he really wants to be and that is a terrifying nightmare for our country, our republic.
“Pence cannot support Trump. That says a lot.
“When he was being threatened with being hung by supporters of Trump, when he instigated the insurrection, he put that man at risk, but that man was a moral compass.
“When the Vice President of the United States could no longer support him, that tells you what you suspected, the bad things that you thought happened, really did happen.
“The documents thing irks me ’cause I was an intel analyst.
“That’s what pissed me off about Hillary, but it’s sort of like Trump did the old, ‘well, hold my beer. Let me show you, I can do it even better.’
“For the first time in my long life, I’m gonna have to vote for a Democrat.
“You’re always making a decision of the lesser of two evils, well, he’s become the greater of two evils and Biden looks better in comparison.
“Biden has not been that terrible, he hasn’t been great, but he hasn’t been that scary to, to undermine the very fabric of what this country is.”
