“Trump is not a savior. He is not a Messiah. He is not one that is going to bring peace on earth. Please don’t vote for Trump.”
“My name is Doneetsa and I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I can no longer be a Trump voter, even though I did vote for him in 2020.
“I cannot support Trump again for many reasons. One is the January 6th attempt to overthrow the election. It’s also his utter contempt for anyone who disagrees with him. When I saw the events unfold on January 6th, I was appalled. It was… I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, that this was the United States of America.
“That Trump would encourage people, would instigate this kind of behavior, does not speak well of any leader, and Trump, I’m hoping, will face charges for this. It was appalling to see people push into the capitol and then to say things: “Where’s Mike Pence? Where are the others?” As if they could overhaul… they could overthrow the election.
“Trump’s vocabulary is rude, it is contemptible, it is vile, there is no good speech that comes from him, and to denigrate individuals is so, so soul-hurting. I believe that every person is made in the image of God. When we say contemptible things to a person, we’re damaging what God has made, and he continually damages people by the things he says, and he makes them scared. Is violence going to happen? And sometimes it does.
“So please consider the fact that Trump is not a savior. He is not a Messiah. He is not one that is going to bring peace on earth. Please don’t vote for Trump.”
