“My name is Jessica. I live in Sharon, Massachusetts, and I am a former Trump voter. I can’t vote for Trump, and the reason I can’t is because I feel that he wants to come in as a dictator.

“As someone who is not upholding American values, I feel that his ego is really superseding. All of the things that make America a great, great country and for those reasons, plus his lying, his twisting the truth, and his bullying of people who do not agree with his viewpoints, I feel that it’s very immature.

“I’m also a high school public school teacher and I feel that our president needs to be a great role model. When January 6th occurred. I was horrified. I was horrified. I was terrified for my family, again, for my children, for my students, for the country, because I felt that we were living in an alternative universe. I absolutely blame Trump for the violence.

“I think that he was such a sore loser from and his ego was so bruised that he put aside all of the political promises and oaths that he took to protect this country for his own personal unhappiness and disappointment at being a loser.

“It really terrifies me that a convicted felon could be the president of the United States. What message is that giving to every single person in this country? So any felon can run to be the superintendent of public schools, can be a principal at an elementary school, can be a police officer if we allow the head of our country to be a convicted felon.

“A lot of the people who support Trump keep saying is disparaging the American justice system because it’s in New York where he was convicted. But if you believe in the American justice system, if you are an American, you have to give your faith, put your faith in the fact that these people, the judge, they made a decision based on the evidence. And if you are an American, that’s American justice.

“So remember whatever Trump says, remember that he said that he really won the election. And remember all of the lies that have already been disproved before you say, oh, he really wasn’t guilty. He absolutely was guilty.

“And also, as a woman to have affairs, multiple affairs, it’s always a way of misogynistic people or men to say and blame it on the woman. There were two people participating and he was a married man. That is not American values. There’s a better, more moral, more just way. And if you truly are a patriot, you will not vote for Trump.”
