“I don’t believe that Trump represents a true conservative Republican.”
“My name is Jim. I’m from Wyoming, and vote for Trump again.
“When I joined the National Guard, I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. When Donald Trump became our 45th president, he took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. He lost the 2020 election. He refuses to this day to admit that he lost the 2020 election.
“January 6th, Donald Trump invites his supporters, his a key group of his supporters, core supporters, to an event in Washington DC. How does he get ’em there? He says you don’t wanna miss this. This is going to be big in capital letters, B.I.G. You’ve got Trump, you know, angling, whichever angle he can get.
“He’s got his group of lawyers who have all been indicted and charged in various states around the country, going down, setting up schemes to send fake electors to Congress to interfere with the certification of the 2020 vote. This is in violation of his oath to support and defend the Constitution.
“It’s the same oath that service members take before they go are sent to war.
“Maybe not quite as long. You know, maybe the, there’s a few more things that the service members are swearing, you know, to uphold. But uphold and defend, defend the Constitution of the United States. Not subvert, not disenfranchise, entire states of voters. You know, it’s our system.
“And now we’re gonna go and villainize some immigrants from Springfield, Ohio. And to redirect the conversation away from the actions that, that he’s done redirect the conversation away from Donald Trump.
“Now let’s refocus the conversation back onto Donald Trump. What are his qualifications? You know, he’s a good salesman, I’ll grant him that.
“In Wyoming, we have the cowboy code. And I’m not ridding for the Trump brand. I’m ridding for the conservative Republican brand. And I don’t believe that Trump represents a true conservative Republican.
“I will never vote for Donald Trump. I’m willing to pay a little bit more for groceries and gasoline than to risk my vote, and my ability to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
