“His character is not presidential whatsoever.”
“My name is Jim, and I live in Alabama, and I’ve been a Republican all of my life, and I am a former Trump voter.
“His stance with NATO probably was really the straw that broke the camel’s back. I’m very interested in international affairs and national security being former military and having family in that field. I just believe he was right as far as NATO members paying the dues that they we’re obligated to and not doing it, but the way he went after them, even now, the way that I fear he’s going to regress and take a, you know, it may sound America first, but when it’s America only, that could be a problem.
“And lastly, just character issues. Just his character is not presidential whatsoever. We all know what his character is. We can pretend that we don’t, we could try to ignore it, but the Republican Party, which I’ve been a member of my entire life, basically had always stood for family values and, good moral character, and, trying to teach our children, you know, that we’re that light upon the shining hill or the city. We cannot go down that road of unpredictability that Donald Trump brings.
“In 2024, I will not be voting for Donald Trump.”
