“We can’t have him in office again. It would be obviously a risk to our democracy. I would be afraid for our freedoms.”
“Hi, I am Kelly and I’m from Wisconsin, and I’m a former Trump voter. When January 6th happened and I saw it live on TV, I happened to be home that day and I remember texting my husband like, this is crazy. I kept thinking Trump should be stopping them, but he’s not. The fact that he was sitting there for hours not doing anything and just letting them go, and I thought, are you kidding me?
“Without a doubt, Trump was responsible for what happened on January 6th. I don’t know when or if we’ll ever see a trial that he’ll be there for, but he needs to be held accountable for that whole January 6th. Why didn’t he stop it? It just makes no sense to me like that right there is nonsensical. He could have put a stop to it much sooner than he did, but he chose not to.
“So, yeah, he caused it. He keeps secret documents in his home and he keeps them away from the FBI. Crazy. Turn them over. Like, why didn’t he turn them over? No, he hid them. I mean, it’s all documented. It is just, it’s all there.
“When he marched across the White House and went over to the church and held up the Bible, oh my gosh. That was just a turning point for me too, because I was raised Christian. I still am a Christian, and for him to use the Bible in that authoritarian way, it’s just manipulative. It’s horrible. It’s horrible. We can’t have him in office again. It would be obviously a risk to our democracy. I would be afraid for our freedoms.
“I just think it’s obvious to not vote for this man, for Donald Trump, ever. So Biden, it is for me.”
