“We could have a convicted felon in the White House.”

“I’m Ken and I’m a former Trump voter, but I will not be voting for Mr.Trump in 2024.

“I can’t support voting for Mr.Trump again, based on, largely based on his actions after the 2020 election. That’s my biggest problem, he usurped, the first time in the history of our nation. We did not have a peaceful transfer of power. As a historian, that’s a major, that’s a major blow for me.

“When I think about the fact that we have a Republican candidate, a Republican nominee for president of the United States, who’s a convicted felon. He’s not charged. He’s convicted, he’s been convicted 34 times. That we could have a convicted felon in the White House, and among the convictions are these issues dealing with classified documents.

“I worked for the government for 30 plus years. Many, many, many of those years was dealt with handling classified material. I would’ve been fired in jailed long ago for a fraction of what he’s done. So that’s probably one of the biggest issues for me as far as his classification as commander-in-chief.

“And that’s before even getting into his disrespect, and minimizing military people, heroes, John McCain. Calling John McCain a loser because he was captured. Ah, come on, no. That was a hard one for me. That was a hard one for me. Once we got past that point, I knew I could never vote for him again.

“When I look at the choices, first of all, we only have, there’s only two choices. There’s Donald Trump, there’s Kamala Harris. I get so frustrated with people who say, ‘oh, I’m not voting for either one of ’em. I’m gonna write in Mickey Mouse’ or ‘I’m voting for Kennedy’ or whatever, ‘I’m just not voting at all.’ I tell everyone that’s not really, you may think you’re not voting for them. But when you don’t vote at all, you vote for some immaterial, irrelevant candidate. You’re actually voting for one of them. You just don’t know which one.

“As far as the choice to vote for Kamala Harris, absolute no-brainer, absolute, total, no-brainer vote for no hesitation from this lifelong Republican whatsoever.”
