“This guy is not a Republican.”
“Hi, I am a retired and disabled Vietnam vet. And have been a Republican appointee in the past, and I am really very worried about Trump getting elected this time. I voted for him in 2016 because I could not stand voting for Clinton but right now I’m just concerned about the statements that I’ve heard Trump make and his running mate make. About how they plan to take over the government and what they plan to do with respect to taxes. The increasing deficit that’s going to be taking place because of lack of taxes, the increased inflation we’re gonna see, from really high tariffs on foreign products.
“There’s still a lot of stuff that doesn’t hang together. And I can’t see supporting the Republicans, with respect to the their presidential candidate. I normally would not even be thinking about voting for a Democrat, but this guy is not a Republican.
“I’m just gonna vote Democrat. I’m not only gonna vote Democrat for the President. I’m gonna vote straight Democrat to try to reduce the possibility of the Republicans getting any kind of a majority in any of the state or federal legislatures.”
