“He’s too disgusting to vote for.”
“My name’s Paul Weaver, I live in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, and I voted for Trump in 2016.
“I can’t support Trump anymore because it’s really as simple as he’s shown himself to be a reprehensible human being. Some of the policies are fine. Some of the things he did in the first term are fine, but he’s just… he’s too disgusting to vote for. I can’t really say it any clearer than that. So Trump and his character, he really lost me during the pandemic. He went outside the White House. He went across the street and he held a Bible upside down and started talking about religion.
“I’m a person of faith. He is clearly not. And the Trump Bible. Come on, gimme a break. Really? So, you know, with the things he says about minorities, women, the disabled, I don’t even know what to say, I mean, it’s disgusting.
“Trump’s religious pretense… it really doesn’t have any effect on me at all because it’s just so laughable. But where it does affect me and where it does bother me is the way people generalize about religion or people of faith. We all get thrown on that boat with Trump, you know? Don’t throw me in a box with Trump. Please stop. Okay?
“The scary part to me of the second Trump term is bringing it to an end. If he gets in again, are we gonna be able to get him the hell out? As bizarre as the January 6th and the election recalls all that stuff. As bizarre as all that stuff was, I don’t know how close he was to being successful in making that happen.
“And he’s ignorant, but not stupid. So if he gets in again, what has he learned from last time that will help him stay firmly entrenched well past the expiration date. That, and the four years will be an unqualified disaster, don’t get me wrong, but it’s bizarre to me that we’re still talking about him being elected again.
“And if he’s elected, are we gonna get him out?”
