“Trump is not going to be bound by our laws. He feels like he’s above them.”
“My name is Pauline, I’m from Georgia. I voted for Trump in 2016, and this upcoming election in 2024, I will be voting for Kamala Harris because I wanna see our democracy survive.
“Kamala Harris is a very competent, very smart woman who I feel has the strength and the ability to lead us for the next four years. I think she will do a wonderful job. I feel that she is aligned more with what the true American people want, not what the one per 1% wants, but what true Americans need. The amount of support that has come behind her is wonderful. It’s Kamala Harris’s positivity, and I feel that Tim Waltz being brought on… after listening to him, I didn’t know a lot about him before they announced him, but then after doing my research and listening to him, his beliefs actually align very close to mine in that, I’m going to do what I believe. But what you do in your home is your business, it’s not my business. As long as it doesn’t negatively affect me or break the law, that’s your business and it’s not mine, and that’s where it should be.
“It’s very easy to see that Trump does not believe that he has done anything wrong in the 34 convictions…the convictions that he’s already received. That’s fake, right? It is not true. Even though we were judged by a panel of our peers…couldn’t be.
“So for me, Trump’s a convicted felon with 34 convictions so far, that we know of. If he is elected, we won’t know if he’s guilty of any of the rest of it because he’s gonna make sure that it goes away.
“Kamala Harris is a prosecutor and she understands what the law stands for, and she understands how the law is supposed to work. And in her entire career, she has abided by that law, she’s supported it, she’s upheld it, she’s held others accountable for it. Trump is telling everyone that as soon as he’s in office, he’s going to forgive and free all of the insurrectionists who have already been found guilty and are currently serving time. He’s gonna free them. ‘I’m gonna free them because they’re hostages.’ He doesn’t believe in our legal system.
“He’s got 34 convictions, but they’re all fake. Trump is not going to be bound by our laws. He feels like he’s above them. Where Kamala Harris is going to recognize and does uphold the laws of the country. And that’s very scary because a man that does not believe that he has to follow the law, will not follow the law. And then where’s that gonna put us?
“We have to work with people that are different from us in order to make true change. I believe Kamala Harris will try to work together with the Republicans to better our country, where I believe that Trump would work to divide it even further.”
