“I do not feel like he would be bound by the Constitution. I think he has little to no respect for our traditions and norms.”

“My name is Rebecca, I live in Florida, I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and there is not a chance that I would be voting for him again. Kamala Harris has my vote for 2024.

“On January 6th, I had been out running errands that day and it took me probably fifteen, twenty minutes of watching that for it to hit me what was happening. I bawled my eyes out. I cried and cried. This was purposeful, the language was used with purpose to anger these people, to coerce them. I don’t know, that was pivotal for me. I don’t think there’s anything that unites anybody in this country with Donald Trump other than their hate for the same people.

“His foreign policy scares me to death. I know that he, in his warped mind, believes that he’s forming friendships with these world leaders that are dictators, but I think we all know, there’s no doubt that if we perceive this man to be a complete buffoon, of course these dictators, they know how to play him. One good compliment and he’s got diarrhea of the mouth.

“Donald Trump’s second term in office, it scares me for a couple of reasons. I do not feel like he would be bound by the Constitution. I think he has little to no respect for our traditions and norms.

“And more than that, I am concerned because of the players that are surrounding him this time. To now know that the party itself has shifted to the degree of extremism, that is extremely alarming. And then Heritage coming out and being so bold as to publish their plans, as if this was something normal and healthy for our country. Women will suffer greatly, minorities will suffer greatly. And I think the latest comment that really scared me came from, I think his name is Mr. Roberts, one of the co-authors, who made the claim that this is the second American Revolution, and that they are ready and prepared to take back their country, and that this will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be. That’s pretty serious.

“This man, her vice president Tim Walz, was a teacher, served in the military. They don’t come from money. They know what it’s like to work regular jobs, be regular people. And I think just having that life experience alone makes it easier for them to create policy that benefits working Americans. The record that Tim Walz has in Minnesota is tremendous. That is almost unheard of. I was shocked to hear about all the great things that he put into place. And on the social issues, it’s so refreshing, just not to hear this doom, this gloom. This time, I feel like I am finally able to get behind some policy measures that I feel like will be beneficial for everybody.”
