“Refusing even to this day to admit that he lost the election is unfathomable.”
“My name is Tony and I live in Decatur, Alabama. I’m 60 years old and I registered to vote when I was 18, and I have voted in any and every minor and major election since I was 18, and I have been a Republican and voted Republican in each and every one of those elections because I’m a conservative Christian, but I am.
“I was a Reagan Republican. I am not a Republican today, I have changed and I’m now a Democrat because it is the only other option.
“I am not a MAGA Trump Republican and how these Republicans have changed to be MAGA Trump. Republicans just blows my mind. They have no balls. They are cowards. I know they all don’t believe the way he believes.
“And the MAGA Republicans believe, but they are scared that if they don’t follow him and fall in line behind him, that they will lose their place in government and they won’t be elected again. This is ridiculous. The few of them that have had the balls to stand up against him, I praise them. It doesn’t mean that they are Democrats.
“It means that they are doing the right thing, and these people who are Christian nationalists are not authentic, genuine Christians like they call themselves, they have mixed politics with Christianity. There was separation of church and state intended by our founding fathers. That is clear and definite. Although I like to see Christianity in things in our government, it was never intended to be done with violence, and these MAGA Republicans are doing everything with violence. That is not the way to accomplish anything and Trump is all about violence. He instigates it and he promotes it.
“I voted for him in 2016 because I thought he was a good businessman and we didn’t have one of those candidates before in government or running for president in 2020. Well, in 2016 I didn’t know until now that he had increased the national debt more than any other president. I didn’t know a lot of things about the results of his presidency and how horrible he really was.
“Even in 2020 when I voted again for Trump, the only reason he got my vote was because of COVID and me and my mother voting early in an absentee ballot very early before we saw all of the things that he did after we voted. If we could have voted again in 2020 after seeing those things, we would’ve never voted for him in 2020, if we could have cast our vote again later, we would have voted for Biden, definitely.
“But it was too late and we were so disheartened and disappointed. After seeing the Capitol riot, there is no way that I can understand why anybody would have voted for him, and everything he’s done since then is just a disgrace. He is an evil devil and, refusing even to this day to admit that he lost the election is unfathomable.
“It is so clearly proven that he lost the election and he is such a baby and coward that he cannot admit that he lost anything of any kind and, to be leading all of these MAGA Republicans, these Christian nationalists is just unfathomable, how they can follow this man so blindly.”
