The Washington Post‘s Leigh Ann Caldwell and Theodoric Meyer covered our swing-state ad campaign with Future Forward:
An anti-Donald Trump group is out with a new multimillion-dollar ad buy in the final two weeks of the campaign, aiming to persuade uncertain independent and soft Trump voters to back Vice President Kamala Harris.
The new ad by Republican Voters Against Trump and Future Forward, the pro-Harris super PAC, opens with a White, male, former Trump voter from Alabama loading tools in the back of his pickup truck.
“I’m a lifelong Republican, and I voted for Trump twice, but I can’t do it again,” he states.
Kyle, from Mobile, Alabama, argues that Trump would be bad for the economy and small businesses with his plan to increase tariffs and cut taxes for the wealthy. It features audio of Trump saying: “You’re rich as hell. We’re going to give you tax cuts.”
This ad, which will air nationally and in battleground states on cable, broadcast and streaming, is part of the $32.5 million effort by Republican Voters Against Trump this election cycle.
