“I will not support someone who favors dictators around the world and encourages that, who refuses to support our own allies.”

“Hello, my name’s Michael. I live in the state of Georgia and I am a member of the Republican Party. I did vote for Trump in 2016 and 2020. I wish that we could get a candidate that is not Donald Trump because we need a Republican that can continue to support strong, conservative ideals and a strong military, and I don’t think that Donald Trump is that man anymore.

“I think he’s clearly in favor of number one himself, and he’s not for America. If he was for America, he would not be backing Vladimir Putin in Russia. He would not be saying that Xi of China is a smart guy, and he would not be encouraging Putin to attack NATO countries. I cannot support. I will not support someone who favors dictators around the world and encourages that, who refuses to support our own allies.

“No one, no one around the world will want to side with the United States if we won’t support them. Continue, and we’re showing it right now where the Republicans are no longer wanting to back Ukraine.

“The comments contrary to the Constitution, they continue to come from Trump. He didn’t stop there and there’s been more, and maybe he’s tried to recant one or two of those, but I think it’s crazy that he would support and even say he wants to pardon the people and call them some kind of heroes, that invaded the capitol. That’s shocking.

“We shouldn’t have had to make a decision for or against the Republican candidate. But I will not vote for Trump. I can’t vote for him. I won’t. It’s over for me with Trump.”
