“You don’t want your kids raised to see him as an example of what a president is.”

“My name is Cameron. I’m from Minnesota and I voted for Trump in 2020, but after his claims of fraud and January 6th, I can never do that again. Just the other day, Trump said that he would pardon the rioters, who maimed police officers at the Capitol, and he expressed more concern for the limestone at the Capitol than for their lives.

“In 2016, Mitt Romney said that Hillary Clinton is wrong on every issue, but she’s wrong within the normal parameters. I think that applies to Kamala Harris as well, though she started to moderate on many issues, and I think if JD Vance can go from calling Trump America’s Hitler to being his running mate. Kamala can have some wiggle room as well.

“Trump said he terminate the constitution. I don’t think any conservative should ever vote for someone who said that. I’m going to vote for Kamala Harris and I think the conservative thing to do is to vote to conserve our liberal democracy.

“My first impression of Kamala Harris, was back in 2019 or so, and that’s back when I got my news exclusively from Ben Shapiro, so she wasn’t painted in the best light. So for me back then, to think that I’d be enthusiastically supporting her today would be quite the whirlwind, but she has an exciting momentum behind her.

“I would say America as a system is built to go back and forth between the different parties being in charge. You know, even if you disagree with Democrats on some policy issues, they’re gonna be in charge again. The country’s gonna go on. Trump is a unique threat we need to get done with and then get back to our normal policy disagreements.

“If you like, a lot of Americans find Trump distasteful and want him out of our politics, you don’t want your kids raised to see him as an example of what a president is. This November, there’s only one option to beat him, and that’s Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris is, I think is gonna end up being a generationally inspiring figure.

“And even if you disagreed with her on policy, I think that she’s the best bet this November. Trump said he terminate the constitution. I don’t know anyone who would wanna vote for him if they actually confront that fact. And I think the conservative thing to do is to vote against any individual who said they terminate the Constitution. And that’s why I’m voting for Kamala Harris.”
