“Any rational person doesn’t have a choice but to vote for whoever is not Trump in 2024.”
“My name is Robert. I’m from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and I voted, unfortunately, I voted for Trump in 2016. For the first time in my life, I did not vote for a Republican presidential candidate in 2020. And then in 2024, there’s no way I can support Trump at all.
“Donald Trump’s actions in talking about the stolen election, both before and since the election is both, not only the most despicable thing I’ve ever seen by any statesman in the United States of America, but it’s dangerous. It’s outright dangerous, and it’s gonna be repeated worse. His actions affected me on January 6th a profound number. One, it looked like I and everybody else that I know saw, the world, the entire world, saw us turn into a Banana Republic at the direction and control of Donald Trump. And it’s not like it started on January 6th.
“If you listen to him, he’d been saying what he was gonna do well before, talking about the integrity of the election months ahead of time, and it all came to fruition. It was all part of his plan. I don’t know if he thought it would work out like that, but he was, I’m sure he was gleefully excited on what he watched while the rest of the entire world watched in horror, in horror, and the country hasn’t been the same.
“He has no care about our democracy, our country, any of the people in it, only himself, and maybe someone, his family, I don’t even know if he cares about his own family, but I think that’s the limit of his ability to care.
“Trump floating idea of terminating constitution is abhorrent. It’s just like anything else that we associate with Trump at this point,
“it means the death of the nation. It means probably civil war, if not outright violence. It means on the pathway to an autocratic one-party system. I’m certainly voting for whoever the other candidate is, whether it’s Biden or anybody else, I don’t have a choice. I don’t think anybody in this country has a choice at this point. Any rational person doesn’t have a choice but to vote for whoever is not Trump in 2024.”
